The first road tunnel connecting the Asian and European continents underneath the seabed. The whole route stretching between Kazlıçeşme and Göztepe, including the tunnel approach road, has a length of 14.6 km, while the double-deck tunnel itself is 5.4 km. Employing advanced technology to be built beneath the seabed, it has significantly reduced travel time between continents from over 90 minutes to just 5.
All technical visits are free of charge for registered Congress participants and will be held concurrently on 18 October. Participants can register for one technical visit through the delegate registration system. Please note that the spots are limited and these will be attributed on a first-come first-served basis.
