Global challenges are propelling the transport sector and safe mobility to thrive now more than ever. In some areas, such as the entire Mediterranean region, the focus on optimising the transport sector and mobility in general stands as the true key to encouraging policy and legislative efforts. In many cases, these efforts are already well-established, paving the way for new approaches and exchanges of good practices that are replicable in every country of a vast region with immense potential.
This panel aims to highlight the key actions among government and institutional partners, demonstrating how regional collaboration can make a significant difference. Considering the interconnectedness of Mediterranean areas, shared and intertwined corridors, common challenges, and opportunities, this collaboration is essential for supporting positive governance, sustainable socio-economic growth, and long-lasting progress.
