Tires play a unique role in providing safe mobility as they are the only connection between the vehicle and the road. The friction between tires and the road surface, critical to vehicle safety and performance, generates what are defined as “tire and road wear particles” (TRWP). During this meeting, we will share the overall state of knowledge concerning TRWP, followed by Q/A and identify topics for future discussion and collaboration.
The aim is to have an open discussion on TRWP in order to identify common challenges and discuss potential approaches and strategies for future and impactful collaboration.
